Don't f***ing sell a player right now unless you get an Andy Carroll offer or are forced to via contractual reasons. It's called common business sense ffs. You're potentially leaving money on the table unless a club buts a sound bid in that meets your valuation. Rafa is not thick, he's not going to sit here and go yeah let's sell Moussa for 5m because he's over rated and s***. He's going to only sanction selling him when someone is desperate enough to pay market prices for premier league players who play for an international team. Despite what some of you discount, it seems to weigh heavily on people who make decisions buying players

Sense at last.

why do you keep quoting 3mil and 5mil when the offer reported is 12?

we know the REAL sissoko who is worth £10 max, but his reputation outside of the toon (and in his own head} is much higher so we need to be negotiating a fee on the back of that.

There's been people on here suggest we sell him for 3m as that's all he's worth.

Villa and Sheffield Wed have bid £2.5m for Gouffran according to a spurious link on Twitter. Fingers crossed.

2.5m has to be bollocks.

He'd be a decent Championship player. I don't want him anywhere near us though, £2.5m is good money for someone you never use, not even when injuries and suspensions are piling up.

would rather keep armstrong in our pool of strikers than goufrann. thats if we arent going to sign another. looks like cisse is going to see out the last year of his contract too.

I'm of the thought process of when you sell a player from your club, you try and force and squeeze the max amount out of them and be a cunt of a negotiated and get your money's worth. If a club wants your player in this day and age with all the fees thrown about, they'll pay a decent premium.

Shitty arsed watford have turned down nearly £70 million for their two strikers I'm sure we could hold out for a few million more
