Euro 2016 trouble - Russia handed suspended disqualification by UEFA

Don't really understand why there are so few of them, and what they think they'll achieve by storming fans like that. With such low numbers they've got absolutely no chance of dispersing fans.

Police don't seem to be helping this situation in the slightest.

Considering the level of hostility and thuggery they are encountering after such crazy shit already happening there very recently, it could be a lot worse. There's many other countries that wouldn't stand for anywhere near that level of shit and would be far more heavy handed.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for storming fans who are fighting and smashing shit up etc, but not storming and tear gassing fans for singing songs, which is what reports have suggested has been going on.

I hate it when riot police go ott when protests go wrong. But this is just thugs spoiling for trouble. So they should go in and stamp down their authority. You can't let these kind of people control the streets.

Stick them in the back of a van, lock them up, drive them out of the country. Why's that so hard to do. There's no point in standing around, babysitting them, until they go to sleep.

Get rid and let the good fans, and the people who's cities these are, enjoy themselves. Do it now so the good people have the rest of the tournament to shine through.

UEFA need to show some balls, too. Just because it's outside of a stadium doesn't mean it's not their place to punish.

To be quite honest, if there is hell on tonight and after the match tomorrow, no one could complain if the team get sent home. Perhaps it needs to happen, inorder to get these arseholes banned from England games altogether. As it is now, the Russians have nothing to lose - so will probs be looking to kick off big time too.

That throwing coins video is horrible like. Doesn't matter if they're gypsies, obviously taking the p*ss out of them being poor.

Shame the 'don't take me home' song, which I'm pretty sure was popularized by us lot, has become a England anthem for all this.

Russian heterosexuals

Don't fall for that Russian propaganda merchant man, he spent a full day outside that pub trying to find snippets to paint the England fans in that pub in a bad light as the Russians were goading them trying to start something, If you watch it back all the video shows is pissed blokes throwing coins at kids. The only reason it looks bad is because of what the video was tagged as (gypsies, bullying etc). For all we know their parents were millionaires and they spent the money on sweets. As I said a few pages back I've literally done the exact same to bairns when I've been outside on the drink, throw a few coins for them to 'fight' over.

Today has been different though, no doubt at all we've went on like a bunch of arseholes/

Sorry like, but I don't think it needs a caption. Aye, I can't be sure, as with any video, but I think it's pretty clear it's a few England fans throwing coins on the floor for kids trying to get money to scramble for. It might only be representative of 2 people, and some dickhead Russians may take pleasure in how it looks, but don't think that stops it being a very dickish and embarrassing thing to watch people doing.

And what's wrong with that?

It's only bad if the kids are genuinely begging, the England fans know this, and they're throwing the coins to take the piss. Otherwise it's the harmless act of having a bit of fun with a group of children who look to be enjoying themselves.

EDIT: It's blatant propaganda man, he mentioned 'mocking gypsies' and suddenly the video takes a whole new tone.

EDIT 2: He's a Russian radgepacket so he probably does actually think they're Gypsies because they have brown skin.

There are 4 kids on their own scrambling desperately for coins on the floor. I don't know if they're gypsies or refugees or anything, but without any title or caption, I think it's very likely they're being mocked. Aye, like anything it could be misrepresented, but it looks nasty without any need for Russians to add malicious captions.

 I'm not saying they aren't mocking them FWIW, just a lot of people have been kicking off about it despite the lack of evidence. I usually wouldn't care but the bloke who reported it is a total muppet, his twitter feel last night was really irritating.

England fans really are some of the most obnoxious arseholes to walk the planet, even if they aren't necessarily violent hooligans.

Watching them run around the city centre chasing those Russians sums it up like, you see it all the time when out too. Just loads of daft cunts posturing constantly, it's boring as fuck.

I hope next season our fans drop the 'Please don't take me home' song. I know the majority of fans singing it over there are just having a good time, but I'll just associate it with the arseholes now.

Thinking about it, I know the Russian hooligans have went on like a total bunch of arseholes, and their media has been a disgrace, but have the actually Russian fans been that bad?

Haven't really heard anything from them on the whole?

Going round attacking scarfers and stoving numerous heads in, I would say so yeah.

The media are loving this. They're following around anything and everything, hoping for it to kick off. A little rowdy and it's all "it's a massive firm" this and "mental scenes" that.

None of it's great but they're sensationalising everything, now. It's a sick level of reporting.

It's not like they're massively over exaggerating though, England fans have gone over there and shamed us yet again, provoked or not I'm embarrassed to be English at the moment.

Aye, they're scum. But the stuff outside of the real shite is just sensationalism. Reporters talking of stuff like they're gansta savy.

But why are you embarrassed to be English because of them? They're not representative of you, or anyone you know. Like fuck do they represent me. All of them (all nations) are just dregs of society. They couldn't embarrass me if they tried.

It's not that they represent me, it's that their actions affect me and every other English person who wants to have a nice time abroad. I'm embarrassed to share a planet with those people, it's even more embarrassing if I share a country or a city.

I get you now  It's the whole perception when abroad that we're all this knuckle-dragging type of tosser. It's always the case that the few fuck it up for the rest.

It's bad enough that the world knows the English are hopeless at football. You don't want them thinking we can't go anywhere without destroying the place.

You can spot the English a mile away. Lobster red, tattooed and drunk. A "dirty, hoggish people".

No wonder the prices are higher on the English menus.

The only people who have a worse reputation than the English are the Russians
