Guest firetotheworks
I actively avoid knowing anything about other teams and players in the Championship, like. Beyond Knockaert I couldn't name many players in the league, and beyond Brighton and Huddersfield I have to check where a team is in the division before we play them. If we didn't go up that would probably change and I'd end up knowing more, but even being in this absolutely shite league feels like too much of an attachment for me to have with it. triggs
He's been outstanding in 2017, probably our best player. Looking forward to seeing how he does in the PL

Wondering if they mean Josh Morris, not John (who I've never heard of). If so, that's based purely on his goal scoring run at the start of the season. He's been utter shit since December. The list is a poll of fans by the way, nothing more.
GeordieDazzler
Matt Ritchie is our friend, is our friend, Matt Ritchie is our friend, he hates corner flags. Kicks the bastards with his boot, with his boot....
Wallsendmag
No doubt Ashley will start docking his wages if he continues damaging the corner flags. Class player btw.
AyeDubbleYoo
When he had his mid-season dip I started wondering whether there was a reason he had to drop down from the PL. But he's really pushed on lately and looks very much ready for the PL next season. Stoked with him.
Kanj
Easily my favorite Newcastle player these days.

afar
Could you imagine if we had managed to sign Knockheart at the beginning of the season, him and Ritchie in the same team and Brighton severely weakened, we probably would have been up weeks ago already. Guest reefatoon
Omar f***ing Bogle? Just had to look him up, and he only joined the championship in January and has scored 3 goals in 12 games for Wigan, yet he is rated in 16th place. Madness.

Ikon
I love this lad! Such a great signing. Said it before but I think Knockaert is overrated.
Astroblack
I hope Ritchie stays for years to come. There may be better players out there, but his character is worth a whole lot more.
Ikon
Play him with quality players in the PL (few pacy one's) and I'm absolutely certain that he'd look the part there as well. He's such a good footballer and an intelligent one at it.
DJ_NUFC
We haven't had a player with this passion in quite some time. Only Lascelles at the end of last season when he was yelling at everyone comes close in terms of #pashun.

Dr.Spaceman
I love this lad! Such a great signing. Said it before but I think Knockaert is overrated. How is he overrated? He's about to be promoted for the second time in 3 and a half seasons in the championship. He's the perfect player at this level and is showing it. He's scored 13 goals and got 8 assists. Matt Ritchie has 11 goals and 7 assists to compare.
Guest Howaythetoon
Our best player and player of the season for me. He has really stepped up to the challenge these last few critical months. He will do a job for us in the Premier League no problem and has proven his value for me.
Guest Howaythetoon
Knockaert is my kind of player btw, constantly a threat on the ball. He's better than Ritchie.
