Cannot be bothered to have a go at players at this point, would i be motivated to play under Mike Ashley? Would i f***.

You’d just have to close your eyes, man-up and think about the holiday! Ashley is to bonuses what Jim Bowen was to gameshow prizes. And you wouldn’t want to miss out on that speed boat, would you? (For the metaphor to work you probs  need to be an unemployed, public transport user from somewhere  like Mansfield...). You can’t beat a bit of Cashley!  :naughty:

Put 13 crosses into the box yesterday. Not his fault we don't have a centre forward worthy of the name.

And how many were actually decent?

Dummett's crosses are better than this twats.

Must be difficult when you're trying pick out Muto and Perez. They're hardly Shearer and Ferdinand.

He like many others was signed as a championship player to get out the championship. You know, the league we ended up in all thanks to mikes neglect. Which is why our squad is full of championship players and that's only one mans fault again. If he ran it even semi competently from 2007 we would have never even been in a relegation battle

Guarantee that if we had a good striker they'd look decent. Much in the same way Barton wasn't a particularly good crosser and then along came Andy Carroll.

he's bang average, commits loads of stupid fouls in dangerous places but because he works at it he gets away with it.

pretty crap really

The only valid criticism of Ritchie is that he lacks pace. His delivery and general end product is quality, if he had that extra yard of pace he'd be one of the most sought after wide men in the Premier.

Ritchie is a great championship player. Not good enough to be relied upon as one of your main creative forces in the premier league. There's a reason Bournemouth flogged him

From what I saw yesterday when he switched to the left, their full-back had him where he wanted him. He didn’t have the pace to outrun him so he was still cutting onto his right and crossing or passing back to Dummett to cross instead.

I think he would be much more effective in a team that pushes up in numbers like when he was at Bournemouth. He's just not got the pace to do Rafa's methods proper justice, although you can't fault his application, which is why he's a fan favourite. Always puts a good shift in.

Missed an open goal and gave a 96th min free kick on the cusp of the penalty area.

But yeah, those (ineffective) crosses.

I'm not a Ritchie fan at all, but the one-and-a-half glaring mistakes aside, he played really well - probably played better there than he has in his natural position all season. It's a specialised job against an opponent who had him outpaced but was completely neutralised.
