I was at the Valencia 2-1 friendly under Keegan; Jonas' debuted whilst Colo was in the stands. KK said the only thing he could confirm was that he liked Coloccini's hair because it was like his in the seventies. Duff and Milner scored, Joaquin for them. It was a really good friendly, and the feeling about the place was really positive.

The feel good factor even after Arsenal gubbed us (the majority at the time thinking Ashley was a little rascal downing that pint and was funny), to the poisonous atmosphere at the Hull game. Never known such a sudden change.

If they had actually backed Keegan things would have been different. We were linked with Modric and Sweinsteiger that summer and both got knocked on the head. We could have had both for 15-20 mil if I remember right

Wasn't the Modric thing pretty much agreed in terms of where our club was (didn't Keegan show him round the club?), but he simply chose Spurs instead?

It was things like the Hyypia story, Milner, Xisco/Nacho that did it.

Not the thread for it anyway.

Can't wait for later.

Tony Jimenez cocked the Modric deal up according to Keegan.

Will he start with the team today that will start next week against Fulham?

You'd think he'd want to start with a near to strongest side possible. However Rafa loves a mash up so don't be surprised to see changes.

Ritchie is expected to miss out again.

Not good news, his lack of minutes. Going to be a key player and we could have done with him getting up to speed with his teammates.
