Big Geordie
A new low for Blyth Spartans, tonight. Losing 1-0 at Newcastle University in the Senior Cup. Club is dying.
54
Gateshead seem to have not had any dip post Elliott leaving which is decent. Truro City just beat previously unbeaten and top of the league Hemel Hempstead in what is starting to look like a promising season in the National League south
Disco
Good win for The Heed considering. Heaton Stan with another home win, just need to sort the away form out to get some momentum together. Blyth and Hebburn both out the Trophy.

OpenC
Alnwick Town draw NUFC u23s in the Senior Cup. Will be an Alnwick fan on the day but looks like the Senior Cup will continue to be the only local trophy we haven't won

Paully
Poor result for Hebburn on Saturday - lost to bottom of the table 2-0 at home - expecting a trouncing tomorrow at Savage and Heskey's place!

Yorkie
Shite boring draws for York and Scarborough; away to Wycombe and Burton respectively. No replays either because of the Champions League or something.
Benwell Lad
Winnable tie for the Heed if they see off Hednesford, though they are past masters of screwing up when expected to win. Watched Morpeth vs Whitby on Saturday and got to say, having watched every NUFC game this season except Everton, and quite a few non league games, it was the best game I've watched so far. Non stop end to end, loads of chances and goalmouth action, always on a knife edge and great energy from both sets of players. Decent crowd too considering Craik's out of the way location.
