Don't think Washington had a shot all game, so he wasn't very troubled, but im sure he could have waited until FT like. Good to see jarra players haven't changed much then ha. Not even sure if I know anyone on the team these days
OpenC
It's a tenner to get in at Berwick anyway, so the hospitality is a great deal if that's your thing loved my day up there and I'll definitely go again as well, but while everybody I spoke to was individually lovely, as a collective the guys on the terrace were pretty ill-tempered and frankly fairly unpleasant (although very funny) even by non league standards Alnwick sliding down Northern League division 2 and looking pretty bereft of ideas and confidence. The two or three worse teams that might save them are looking less fragile all of a sudden only one guaranteed relegation though, and although they'd be a miss I'm told West Allotment would take that spot in division 2 if they folded, even from division 1. Pilko
Gateshead announced that they've reached agreement with the council to satisfy EFL qualification criteria should they get there. Why the cunts couldn't settle that last season and let them have the crack at the playoffs I don't know but good news at least.

Probably because they’ve got no money and they are trying to sell the stadium I’d imagine. Labour coming into power may of bought them some breathing space. OpenC
NUFC Bairns vs Alnwick Town in the senior cup at Blue Flames this evening, assuming the pitch survives an inspection. Conditions looking like they'll be pretty wintry, although dry at least. Anybody know what the parking is like at Four Lane Ends into the evening? I'm assuming it'll be ok. OpenC
5 in the end, and the bairns were classy and just played around the 18 yards rather than humiliating Alnwick. Properly enjoyed it though Edited November 21 by OpenC
Rafalove
Cyril Giraud signed for Blyth. Having watched him at Bishop, I think he’s a good player, and it’s disappointing to see him leave especially considering he only signed from Ashington this season. Having said that I can’t blame him for wanting to move up leagues. Hopefully the step up won’t be too much for him. He’s a quick and skilful player that’s willing to work hard. Wallsendmag
Remember seeing him play for Benfield quite a few times. Very decent player is Cyril.

Big Geordie
Blyth got a 2-2 draw at FCUM last night, although they had been 2-0 ahead shortly after half time. The club look doomed to another relegation - but I guess, there is still a club at least. Previous cunt of an owner has much to answer for.

Which one, the lad that was just there a few months or the one before him? West Allotment back up and running I see, and putting folk to the sword already. Rumours of their demise were perhaps exaggerated
Paullow
Hell of a win for Stockton Town in the FA Trophy today, 2-0 at home to Oldham. I guess the gap between them isn't massive at the moment, but still a very eye-catching result. Oldham are currently 2 leagues above them 5th vs 7th tier, whereas 8 years ago, Oldham were in the 3rd tier and Stockton were in the 11th. York beat Darlington in the same competition, and Spennymoor had a good win away at Alfreton who are in the same league.
