Top of the league clash and won it with ten men. Thought they were done for when Allan got sent off and Eastleigh equalised straight after.
Matt1892
Forest Green just beat Sutton United away in the late kick off. They sit in 5th 3 points behind Gateshead but they have played 5 of their first 6 games away from home.

Scoreboard82
Blue Star missed a golden opportunity today. 2 up after about 15 mins v Hallam in the FA cup 1st qualifying round. They gave away a pen which was saved early in the 2nd half but Hallam scored from the resulting corner. They equalised from another corner soon after. Heading for a replay when a sloppy Blue Star pass on the half way line resulted in the Hallam winner from, you guessed it, yet another corner. Blue Star? More like blew it star. Did tremendously well to get passed North Shields and North Ferriby away to get that far though.
Big Geordie
Blyth squeaked a replay with a 1-1 draw at Campion. Lower league side pretty much outclassed them all game. 👀
Jinky
Went to see Shepton Mallett 1 Odlands 3 in the Western League Premier. 2 sent off 2 penalties and 7 yellows. Ground has the biggest slope ive ever seen. Nice playing surface though.

Wallsendmag
Couldn't make my mind up between Gateshead v Barnet or Heaton Stan v North Ferriby today so I've let the bairn choose. He's picked Gateshead, we get in free there so I'm not complaining so will make do with following the Stan game on Twitter. Hope everyone who's going to a Non League game today with there being no NUFC match, enjoys it. Always a good day out wherever you end up.

OpenC
Alnwick now top half in NL Division 2 after a laboured home win over winless basement club Washington. Possibly the most hopeless officiating I have ever seen, referee looked about 12 and never left the centre circle. ponsaelius
Marske away with Whitley today after a nice afternoon in Saltburn. Best performance of their season from what I've seen, got a lucky OG to win it 3-2 right at the end but overall well deserved I'd say. Marske 'ultras' managed to get the game delayed for about 5 minutes when their flare set their own flag alight Edited September 7, 2024 by ponsaelius
