Guest Howaythetoon
I'll take these kind of wins all day long on the road.
newsted
Just noticed the attendance: 6,665! Going to seem unreal for their players at SJP. My little Asperger is really angry at that one guy who decided not to go.

ponsaelius
Underpar second half but another enjoyable result away from home. Gayle does a great job for somebody who is sometimes isolated on his own up top. His first touch is really underappreciated. Onto the next one. ponsaelius
Only just realised I was standing next to Jamie Sterry and his very tidy lass today. Had literally no idea what the fucker looked like. Left 10 minutes early, shocking.

Drag someone in and give him a pie or something.

afar
Shelvey's passes for the first chance and the goal on these highlights are amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-qYOvunlLw
madras
The pass for the first one is good but the second one is first touch aswell.
shintonsghost
Can only go off the radio,,sounded efficient enough, 3 more points and on we go, a potential blip avoided. I agree with Brighton pushing us and the club, lets keep winning, keep the foot on the throats. Good stuff

Maybe, the little Aspeger of a jobs worth Health & Safety Officer would go into meltdown if another bod turned-up though. (Just realised. That only makes any kind of sense if they were full... , I blame excessive Xmas grog)
ExiledGeordie
These matches are almost like those dodgy 3rd ties in the cup. They were a big side too, you need strength and character to battle through these matches to go with turning it on in matches like the 4-0 against Brum. Yeah, most people thought yesterday was going to be difficult and so it turned out. Therefore another very good 3 points.
Happinesstan
Winning these games is massive compared to where we used to be. Lower division so it is relative, but for so long we would just turn up to these games with the expectation of 3 points, with no expectation of having to work for it, and thus got a right surprise when the opposition had a go. Rafa has got us doing the job that needs to be done. Not often pretty, but pretty wins beauty contests not football games.

Yeah, most people thought yesterday was going to be difficult and so it turned out. Therefore another very good 3 points. Definitely. Burton might only have a 6k capacity stadium, but on the pitch they've been good especially at home where they'd only conceded 7 all season before yesterday. Was always going to be tough, it certainly was, and we didn't help ourselves with a series of basic errors handing them the initiative at times. Luckily Gayle and Diame kept their bottle, took their chances and it was a good 3 points to come away with. Nigel Clough has bleated on about a penalty they should have had in the 94th minute but I don't recall any incident or any big shouts from their players, anyone else recall this?!? Figures 1-0 Football
This is the sort of game that we'd have lost under previous managers. Good efficient win.
LFEE
For those who weren't there we were poor. Couple of moments of quality made the difference 1st half but our ball rentention was very poor. 2nd half in particular.

Greg
Thought Jackson Irvine for them looked a decent player, didn't realise he was an Aussie. One of the Burton fans in the pub before the match said he was their best player and he looked good - needs a hair cut mind.
