The College Dropout Posted August 20, 2017 Share Posted August 20, 2017 I noticed it last season from the little bits i watched, but Spurs showed today they seriously lack creativity outside of Eriksen when teams sit back like that. They needed someone who can open a defence up, but everyone was just running into 3 bodies every time. Can't see them ever winning the league until that changes. Players like Alli, Dembele are class when there's a bit space but in games like today they sorely needed someone put a pass through to stretch the defence, Eriksen can do that obviously but he needs help. Said this myself last season. Reminds me a bit how Chelsea can bring in Fabregas and Willian for creativity. Spurs don't have that magic off the bench Bar Son. Barkley could help. Think Leffe said they get creativity from the fullbacks buts it's not enough, need more centrally. Over reliant on the Eriksen, Alli and Kane trio.
