Yeah, I just assumed that Ian meant Right Back tbh.

I’d say to Debuchy was at least as good as Enrique TBH. Not much to choose.

Wow, so ahead of Beresford and Bernard as well then? Nowhere near Enrique, Beresford, Bernard imo. Still think Beye's the best right back I've seen for us as well.

I liked Debuchy when he finally got settled, but I’d rate Bernard at his best, Domi even at his best and Enrique and Beresford ahead of him as full-backs. I’d rate Beye as the best all-round RB I’ve seen for us mind, an elegant footballer.

People turned their noses up at Adrian in the summer. He's a far better keeper than anything here. Lower mid-table keeper but would have done for a year or so.

Venison was class like, an underrated footballer and a good leader who could play RB, CB and even in midfield. I was over the moon when he got an England Cap. We had some very good English payers back then in Venison, Beresford, Elliott, Clark, Lee, Watson, Sir Les, Shearer, Batty and Beardsley. Sellars wasn’t bad either nor D. Peacock.

I barely remember Venison aside from his overhead kick clearance and his goal against Villa. I was probably a bit too young to appreciate the sort of footballer he was.

Venison was a very good footballer and become better as he got older and excelled under KK’s football philosophy. Had he came to a KK lead NUFC team as a younger player he would have went on to be some player IMO as with a few others.

Loved Venison. Was class when he went into the holding role too.

Excellent at centre half as well, especially for his size. Just a really accomplished player, not particularly fast but his reading of the game was superb. Great leader too, we could do with him in the side at the minute.
