Incorrect, I'm afraid. It's has.

If you're American, but you aren't

Wrong again. CBA though, Google it yourself.

The singular is never used in England you mentalist [emoji38]

Please stop, I can't be arsed to debate it and ruin another thread by arguing over inconsequential shite.

Ok, just say have next time

Nah, you're areet.

Bet you say 'we' when referring to NUFC too and you're not even in the team!!

I say both, because both are fine. Technically a team/club/company etc is both a unit and therefore an It, or a collection of individuals and therefore a They. Like I said in my original post, I just fancied a change, ffs. [emoji38]

Isn't it a case that it should be used but a majority of people use it incorrectly?

It sounds mental, but AFAIK Newcastle United Football Club the club should always be an It, Newcastle United Football Club the team can be both an It or a They, but almost everyone classes both as a They.

Absolutely nothing to do with American English and British English though.

£40m for Bakayoko makes Sissoko look a bargain. Fucking utter donkey.

I'd say he just needs a season to adjust. Destroyed City in the CL last season

There’s nothing there. No touch, no ability to pass in a straight line, awful decision making, timing off and looked absolutely fucked 30 mins before the end.

He looked every inch a £4m gamble we’d take.

Chelsea have looked really poor.

Jacob Murphy looks lively.

Two games in a day for him? Must have used Ashley's chopper. Impressive to sort a loan deal out so soon and they've waived the cup tied rules.
