Made the mistake of calling our quiz team Charnley's Accountants last night, which of course led to the running joke of the quiz master reading out that we got 15 in the first round and 12 in the second round for a total of 5.

f***, this isn't good...this to me feels like transfer ban type s***.

We could have done everything that was asked of us thinking it was correct, we then dont know what the agents or the players declare to the French tax collecters.

Knowing tax law* there's a distinct possibility that whatever they find probably isn't within the spirit of the law but not technically illegal, which would make us bastards but not much else. Also, what happens if we've been party to some tax breaches in France but nothing we've done would contravene UK law?

Yeah, what I'm saying is that in Spain suspects are detained and then released a few hours later once the search is completed. This is made so that they are questioned and they can't move to get key evidence destroyed before the police finishes the search.

Yeap, very easy to remotely wipe stuff nowadays.

Its not as simple as wiping computers, deleted files can be recovered. That's how Harold Shipman was caught, he deleted files and the IT experts recovered them.

Plus he was down to 3 patients at his surgery.

Im hoping, it would be fucking idiotic to pull these tricks given the spotlight on taxes across all of Europe at the minute.

Encryption = 1% of chance of recovering files nowadays without the password for the device.

Also you use fingerprint on your phone, as it's piss easy to get a fingerprint from a glass etc make a mould from it and it usually works.  Seen it done.

Llambeazy must be involved then surely.

Was saying to my brother yesterday that this sort of caper sounded right up Del Boys street, and it was hard to imagine Charnley as some sort of master criminal....Not so hard to imagine him being taken for an absolute mug by some dodgy agents though.

Ashley would be over the moon with a transfer ban funnily enough

Guess who wins again etc

It was probably him who tipped them off, gets a transfer ban, knows Rafa will walk and welcomes back Pards.

There's your first novel plot line.

It's not piss easy. First of all it requires a clean print, something that rarely happens as prints are usually smudged to force and/movement, and then the transfer of the print process. Then it requires a detailed scanner and printer that are usually reserved for lavatory requirements and cost in excess of thousands of pounds. The print also needs to be exactly the same size as the real print as well. Even after all that the print still usually fails, videos of it being done usually omit the whole process including the rejected attempts. Most phones etc all have a limited before which the backup password or code is required. Almost all phones have this backup password or code as an alternative to using the fingerprint which is far easier to break than replicating a finger print.
