Newcastle United lose Judicial Review against HMRC

Unfortunately, I think it will be a while. I really wish the club would just make any statement, no point increasing anxiety by being silent. At the very least I think we can expect np punishment for a while, if there even is one, more concerned about what this means for the summer and for Rafa.

Such an empty f***ing owner. Horrible b******.  I pray for the day we are sold.

Just confirms he couldn't give a s*** about the club or anything to do with it, other than how it affects his wallet.

I wacthed the Preston match with my old man and CP40, old man says "you reckon Ashley is there tonight?"

I replied, "nah he is probably in Dubai hanging about a Casino or strip joint wasting money".

I usually side with the Caulkin view of things, but come on, there could be 1000 legal/logical reasons why Ashley hasn't reassured Rafa and the playing squad about Charnley.

Most likely he doesn't know what is going on yet seeing as though Penfold does the day to day stuff.

He's probably otherwise occupied with goings on at Sports Direct, given one of their main employment agencies is about to go pop.

Reading have just made the list.

Reading can't make the list, they aren't rich enough even to put a ripple in the pool.

just to cheer everyone up, Reading don't exactly smell of roses.

Its the same dodgy shit that we used to get with the local businessmen runnning the clubs, now its just business people from around the world buying the clubs with vastly more money, all still very dodgy.

I'm of the opinion that if individuals do wrong when it comes to illegal practices within the law then their employer (football club) should not be punished. A football club should only be punished if it fields an illegible player for example or something that breaks sporting law, basically for sporting reasons.

Only at NUFC this mind, days after promotion. Joke of a club and always will be!

I'm not really sure whats happened or how things work with tax in big business but any money that we have gained or held on to through illegal means could be used or seen as benefiting the club, say extra 5 million not declared used to sign a player? That's the only way I could see why the club would be punished.
