This lot are embarrassing when it comes to swiftly sealing deals for primary targets, compared with Fletcher & Shepherd. Look what happened the last time we did business with Sporting, and they have a track record of not allowing top prospects (from their academy) to be sold for peanuts. Shepherd flew to Lisbon and wrapped up the Viana transfer, almost overnight, because other suitors were in the race. LRD Posted June 4, 2017 Share Posted June 4, 2017 Maybe Rafa is bringing Lejeune and Semedo in to compete with Clark and Lascelles, with plans to switch Mbemba to DR or DM, or to move him on? The new lads started out as DM anyway so they could be an option if Hayden is unavailable. Anyway, the window hasn't opened and we are already having progress with a few players.
