Guest NobbyOhNobby
Think he's part of the reason why we've struggled the last few games as he's gone off the boil at bit. Seems determined to always cut inside despite in doing so he's moving onto his vastly weaker foot. Made a massive difference, but has really struggled to make it through entire games. Can't remember him being particularly effective in the last 30 minutes or so of games (albeit missed the Huddersfield game this year, where he reportedly did do well). Has the odd flash perhaps, but really think his lack of starts over the last few years have really hurt him. His next move will be crucial for his development and probably needs a team like us as much as we need a creative outlet like him. Can see him moving to a 'bigger' club and just falling away completely under the wrong management. Really think £20m is crazy money even in the current market for a player who's played about 20 games in two seasons. Hope we do end up with him for a reasonable fee and he develops even more as he'll make us a better side, but if it does end up being crazy money or he gets his head turned I still think we could find an equally good player for a more reasonable fee. Totally agree
triggs
Cracking signing. Played a big part in us staying up so comfortably. Especially good as he didn't have much help from behind him like Ritchie would on the other side. Great at tackling and intercepting high up the pitch too Do you mean in an attacking capacity, or in general, because Dummett on the whole has been significantly better than Yedlin since his return? Aye going forward I'm on about
AyeDubbleYoo
I'm not sure Kenedy and Ritchie provide ideal balance, since they both almost never get to the byline and cut inside all the time. Seems to slow a lot of our counterattacks. He's a very good player though and he seems to be someone Rafa really wants.
Jimburst
Would probably try him on the right, at some point. He seems to love taking players on and running at the heart of defenses. Have we done this?
Andy84
Sell Gayle and Mitrovic, then go all in for this lad and a striker. Get Dub permanently and we’re almost set for next season

Get Dub permanently and we’re almost set for next season no, no we arent we need to do all of the above plus a right back who can defend as well as attack, we need at least 2 strikers and we need a couple more squad players better than the squad players we have

Paulie Walnuts
Dreamed he'd signed for Salford - he wanted to stay but we couldn't afford him - I've been playing too much Football Manager.

afar
If we are quoted 15 million snatch their hands off. 20 million it becomes more of a question on whether we want to blow our limited funds on a winger when Striker is clearly more of a priority. What I can see happening is that we balk at their price, no one else comes in with an acceptable offer and we agree to another loan deal on transfer deadline day. Twinport53
I'd still pay the 20mil like. You aren't just getting a left winger, you are getting a back up RW, LB and possibly a #10 at a push. He's young, versatile and pretty much PL proven.
Hanshithispantz
I'd snatch their hand off for £20m.
mrmojorisin75
I'd snatch their hand off for £20m. Only Mike fucking Ashley would be dumb enough to turn that deal down.
TRon
I'd snatch their hand off for £20m. He's good value at £20m, but of course our lot will be doing a good bit of baulking that. We'll waste it on two £10m players instead.
afar
Depends on how big the pot is if the pot is like this season around 30 million then you've just eaten up two thirds of it and still don't have a striker.

Guest Howaythetoon
20m is a bargain for this lad given the current daftness of the market.

We will likely sell Gayle and Motto, assuming they fetch £30mil between them. I half expect Ritchie to go as well and would fetch 10-15mil

Tsunami
He was still looking for a house to rent up here a couple of weeks ago (that’s assuming ‘the Chelsea player’ referred to wasn’t Atsu).
Altamullan
Would love him as our No.10 next season. I can see why people would see him as having what it takes for that role. But he’ll play where he has been if we can secure his signature. Unfortunately I am pessimistic about him staying, even if we bid.
thenige
Given Chelsea's past record it's not completely unrealistic we could just loan him again for next season (albeit likely with some kind of fee involved).
