Staying also makes him look like Levy’s pet mug as well. Levy would be my main reason for leaving if I was him.

Pixelphish
Is he a boyhood Spurs fan? I know the craic with him pictured in an Arsenal shirt but we've all made bad decisions in life.
Tiresias
I get staying and i get going, not knowing which way to go smells more of brother wanting a slice of that signing on fee and bugging him into it

The College Dropout
I think clubs should be limited to 32 players over the age of 21. Anything more is excessive. Pay up their wages and let them go. We’d be close to that limit mind but we should let those lads go too.

Without that (and Keegan) there's no way he would have come to us. Aye he was the best player in the country and joined his boyhood club who just finished 2nd. He would’ve thought with him, he could win it with us.
jdckelly
I find it strange Bayern kept bidding and bidding without some idea he wanted to come so what changed or are they that incompetent Then again maybe he's thinking 12 months from now and a nice free transfer and massive signing on bonus to another prem team
The College Dropout
The Chelsea contract will be massive I’m sure. That’s the key thing.

He’s developed immensely. In his first season, he struggled badly. Pep persisted with the Gundogan x Rodri combo for 18 months and it didn’t work superbly until the very end of that time. And then for the last few years it’s just been immense. Gundogan is another one. He was rated at Dortmund and Germany but he wasn’t considered a Toni Kroos level elite talent. Or a Reus or Lewadowski. But he’s ended up arguably a better proponent of Pep ball than David Silva who I think was a more talented player.
gbandit
I think overall I’m ok with Spurs selling Kane for an exorbitant fee. It would be funny as fuck to see him stay and leave for nothing next year and it would bury Spurs but I just don’t think they’ll spend the money well
Shearergol
Skipped by the comment earlier, but did someone claim Grealish has been average at City? Some fucking weird blinkered views on this page. He literally helped them win the league and CL. He’s class.
The College Dropout
I don’t think Harry Kane makes or breaks Spurs. They’re too rich. They will be a good manager hire and transfer window or two away from CL places for the next few years atleast.

KaKa
For the level of talent around him Grealish has been okay at Man City. Mahrez, DeBruyne, Bernardo, Gundogan, Foden all perform at a higher level than him IMO. Even Sterling and Jesus before him looked more threatening in that wide position. He's been okay.
