You were saying Onana was nailed on for the Golden Gloves earlier in the season! He's probably just going through a rough patch. He's not become a bad keeper over night/week/month or 6..... That's more than anyone at Madrid during that time; only Messi has more in the whole Spanish league. In the EPL, only De Bruyne and Salah have more. So yes he crushes 95% of wingers in assists. Trent is elite. I was talking about this season. Quite irrelevant comparing a new player to Trent 2018.

You were incredible that opening 20 minutes, but felt the rest of the game was very competitive and we should have scored at least two with those chances, especially Casemiro's one. Still think Tonali's shot that hit the post could have been one of the goals of the season. Properly tore us apart there. Yep. Tonali makes it 0-3 and it’s probably a case of how many. However he missed. Man Utd adjusted the midfield and should’ve been 2-2 with 2 great chances/bad misses. 2nd half Man Utd were the better team and created more. Think hitting the post late on which if that goes in a draw was salvageable. That Tonali chance was pivotal. Should’ve buried it.

I'm sure I said it on here at the time but I genuinely think it's the best 20 minutes I've ever seen from an away team at Old Trafford. Hoping our games are closer in scoreline next season. alexf Posted Tuesday at 17:57 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:57 We were definitely in our best moment of the season in that game. Everything was clicking and all the important players were fit and healthy. Was also the early stages still of the midfield 3 set up in the new positions and teams weren't quite sure how to deal with it. It was also around the time we started a pattern of getting a head and then seemingly slowing down in 2nd halves. Still not sure how much of it was conserving energy or if we were just running out of gas and losing control of games a little bit. To be fair to him, Mainoo made a big difference when he came on. But we have seen out leads pretty comfortably this season so you have to give Howe some credit and assume it was mostly by design.

Honestly - the Lyon last 10 plus the red card walkover v Bilbao, then a reasonable show v Chelsea, you looked destined for it, particularly with Spurs showing a tendency for choking only Andrew Tate could replicate. Spurs did choke though. They were absolutely horrendous. I can't remember them having a shot on target and they had 20 odd percent position. And we still lost.
