STM Posted August 7, 2018 Share Posted August 7, 2018 Who cares about a training ground when the whole club is about to implode. It's an example of Mike Ashley's lack of investment in the club. It matters. You could argue that not investing in facilities and infrastructure is far more damaging than penny pinching in the transfer market. What Ashley doesn't realise is that he probably wouldn't have to pay much for a new training ground, as someone would pay for the rights to sponsor it.
