If Wenger never came to Arsenal and Arsenal turned into another nothing Premier League team (which they were heading towards) or worse got relegated and did what the likes of Forest and Ipswich have done, would anyone have bat an eyelid? The same Arsenal who have never been relegated? The same Arsenal who had 10 titles before Wenger (the 3rd highest of any club in the country)? That Arsenal? God knows what they are paying him and I imagine they could have recouped a canny wedge for him too.
