The team have been amazing of late along with playing against teams that haven’t had a shot. Which has helped. I still think he looks a bit unsure whether to stick or twist and not confident with crosses or set pieces at all. Pope is still quite clearly the superior keeper IMO. All that said. The way the last 5 games have gone. He has been the better option in nets. As we’ve been solid as a unit and he makes us better in possession. His feet aren't the issue and it's great how he's being utilised in possession. All in all he's been a decent servant and a top signing on balance over the years given value/worth. Expand Hasn’t made a decent save since he was called upon. Still shakey at times too when the ball comes into the area. Made a big difference with his distribution though, and deserves credit for it. Think I saw a stat that he's made as many saves in these 4 games (4) as he's now got clean sheets (4). If nothing else it gives Pope more time to recover as he clearly doesn't need to be rushed back in right now. I'm glad he is able to contribute to the team and hopefully won't be remembered for just leaving us when we needed him. He was instrumental when we signed him and staying up under Rafa.
