Not that I’m against supporting our players obviously, but for me he’ll never really get the credit back from when he bailed out to Man Utd. Expand I'm more just talking about people thinking we're missing out on some boost to our bottom line by getting him out this month. It's become pretty apparent we're getting fuck all if he goes this month so he may stick around for the next few months. On the Grid Posted January 12 Share Posted January 12 We desperately need a new number 1. Pope just gives the defence (and me and everyone watching) the jitters when he is passed the ball. It's night and day compared to Dubs. You can't have a first team member panicking in any given situation if you're looking to challenge at the top end. And unfortunately Pope seems to have become a bit of a liability in the parts of his game that were strong. Conceded some soft goals this season imo.
