He's sprinting the length of the pitch to get to his fans, unless it's a full on sprint a la Adebayor against Arsenal then I doubt he's the only player he's ran away celebrating with his arms out like that. Mind, he was making noises about transfer budgets etc. and we all know he likes to spend big money to maintain survival or mid-table. They should have stuck with Bruce who probably earned a bad season after what he achieved early on. Their team was built on loanees though and once Bent went, it went to pot basically. Didn't they abuse him as well, one fan throwing their ST at him which also happened to Reid. Given their attendances this season and their seemingly lack of heart for a Championship campaign I think they are now at the level where they belong currently as a club/team/set of fans. Even if he’d taken them down that season i think he would’ve been able to rebuild and get them back up in a year or 2.
