How many times have these lead and not won this season?

It’s important they don’t finish 5th. They’ll get close to a sell out for their home leg, if that’s second the opposition might not handle it. If the Second Leg is away I could see them tripping up.

Just been reading the chronicles explanation of how the play offs work. Said 3rd and 4th place would be home in the 2nd leg. As it stands Sunderland  would go to Charlton  1st leg, I think. Thought that might have been on the day we're  at Fulham but chron said the ELF, the clubs  and police decide the order of play. Police might not fancy us both in London  on  the  same day.

Our game will be on the Sunday, theirs will be on the Saturday.

How much more small time do they have to get before the penny drops about what they are?

Still amazes me how looking at both our attendances, league positions, european records, calibre of players and general reputation over the last 25 years that they still think they are superior. I'd have thought having Kevin Ball as your club icon whilst your rivals have a world famous PL top scorer would do it for most clubs but not these bitter bastards :idiot2:

‘Look where we were 12 months ago’.

Aye, two divisions above Luton, only two seasons ago they were 3 divisions ahead of Portsmouth and in the same league as Barnsley who were also in financial difficulties....while Charlton are also challenging despite their off field troubles.

Agreed we should think its right to hoy a smoke bomb into an area where kids and women are.

Proper men grrrr.

Stunning lack of self awareness.  That’s exactly what they did at SJP a few years ago.

Odd how so many of their football fwiends fkin love to lob stuff at them...almost as if it was all in their heads all along.

Local racist Albert Riviere (74) said "well, if it ain't white, it ain't right"

He must have hated his son Emmanuel.

The lack of self awareness is genuinely staggering. Best fans ever marra while they continue to have the most empty seats in the UK

Mackem logic. I think they are just so jealous and have that much of an inferiority complex to NUFC they are blinded by bitterness

Adrian Durham Talksport ..................."Sunderland losing only 3 games and not getting automatic is ridiculous. 19 draws in 44 games is even more ridiculous. If they blow the play offs that's a massive fail from Jack Ross on that budget."

I think the 6.57 crew would wipe the fucking floor with reiver and all his old bouncer mates the stupid old cunt that he is

Nissan employs around about 20,000 people in the North East, plus many more through the supply chain. They are the regions biggest private sector employer. They employ more people in the North East then we had miners when they were closed. That vast majority of these people are in skilled jobs and get paid accordingly. When Brexit hits and they leave it will be disaster for the North East, quite possibly the straw that broke the camels back. A lot of people are going to have their lives turned upside down from it. It’s not just going to be racist mackems who are hit by it, but people all across the region.

Agreed and thankfully not true, the Nissan plant in Spain might not be so lucky but the Sunderland plant has massive investment going on just now

Even if they do go up it's going to a tough season in the championship. 3 relegated prem teams to deal with, teams previously relegated may have sorted themselves out for a push.  Then all the other teams in and round the current play off spots looking to get promoted.  I really wouldn't fancy being in that slog.

And the town where the plant is located still voted resoundingly for Brexit...... staggering and tragic at the same time.
