toon25
Redeeming himself after a couple of crap performances.
mrmojorisin75
i don't ever really want to see him in 2 in midfield with shelvey but having watched that feel less concerned about the rest of the season re: losing shelvey in some ways, especially at home, he's arguably a better option than shelvey because he passes the ball and then moves himself into space which is better for the team...shelvey wants everything in front of him and is better suited to counter-attacking away from home
xLiaaamx
I want our best players on the pitch, they've successfully played together before. Got to find a way to get them working together.
Lenny
He's very composed on the ball. Never panics and has a sharp turn on him. Looks like he should be a regular starter.
sh74
With Shelvey and Ki i think think they both need a midfield destroyer alongside them in a 2.
Guest firetotheworks
I don't think he's amazing or anything, but it seems to have clicked for him and he's doing miles better than he was.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Tweeted something after the Chelsea game about him lacking bottle and had quite a few replies from Swansea fans saying it depends what mood he's in. Apparently he's prone to hiding/putting in little effort if he's not feeling up to it, which does happen. If the team are doing well and he's in the mood, he's quality. Hopefully he's on a high after the last two performances and long may it continue.
Kanji
Odd comment about a guy who captained his country
TRon
When we discuss the options for midfield, I actually think Diame and Ki are more dynamic as a pairing than any pairing with Shelvey. Jonjo's obviously a lot more talented, but both Ki and Diame seem to buzz about the engine room a lot more, whereas Shelvey tends to sit deeper. If you are going to press the opposition, Diame and Ki would be the ones you pick.
sh74
Could play Shelvey in the number 10?
Rebellious
Really good both games but concerned twice that I saw he lost or didn`t jump with his man on corners where they nearly scored.
hvuge
Main thing for me is that he does thing quicker then Shelvey. And that pass to Kenedy for our second goal was brilliant.
ujpest doza
That ball for the 2nd goal was sublime, goal of the season contender.
David Edgar
Could play Shelvey in the number 10? Shelvey could never play the number 10 role how Rafa wants it played. Regardless, he just wouldn't be very good in that position.
Guest NobbyOhNobby
He got the ball higher up the pitch and did things quicker than I think shelvey has in recent weeks. Could never see them playing together, teams would just run straight through the middle of us

SteveMc
Would need to be in a 3 to play with Shelvey
Ankles Bennett
Be nice if we could play shelvey in the role Ray Kennedy did for Liverpool with him playing behind Ki and Diame in almost a centre half position.
joeyt
And leave out one of the centre backs?
AyeDubbleYoo
Be nice if we could play shelvey in the role Ray Kennedy did for Liverpool with him playing behind Ki and Diame in almost a centre half position. I don’t agree, Shelvey needs to be getting ball further forward, not even deeper.
toon25
I’d love to see Shelvey further forward just to see what he can do in that position, but Rafa doesn’t tend to experiment in that regard
Away Toon
Literally the only thing Shelvey does well is hit long passes and he can only do that from the quarterback position that he likes to play. Anywhere else on the pitch is going to be too crowded and he doesn't do short pass and move.
Hanshithispantz
When he's on form Shelvey is good on the ball from anywhere on the pitch like.
Gallowgate Toon
When he's on form Shelvey is good on the ball from anywhere on the pitch like. Absolutely. To see what he can do, just watch Shelvey's second half of last season when he was allowed to work his magic further up the pitch.
