Happinesstan
Imagine if a takeover happened before Christmas though. Or, imagine it dragging through until February, and leave it to the saddos to get wet about. The choice is yours.

Guest
So he’s resorted to bribery pretty much. Shameful. Anyone who’s boycotted and gets one of their mates to get them one of these can fuck right off.
Pixelphish
https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/get-a-free-half-season-ticket/ Fucking hell. Lower crowds wont do anything though, I read it on Twitter.

Wandy
NUFC have now fully embraced the Sunderland AFC Premier League mission statement. Circle the drain every season with the sole ambition to remain in the league, with a mid table finish being seen as a highly successful season. Employ journeyman managers, secure key players season after season on loan deals and now give away match tickets to make the stadium look full. AyeDubbleYoo
How bad have the crowds been? I haven’t been looking.
Guest
Let’s say £250 a ticket, £2.5m for half a season...if he’d shown some ambition in June he’d have made double that and it would have paid Benitez’s wage almost.
Rafalove
About 5k below last season. Last home game we had our lowest attendance.
AyeDubbleYoo
About 5k below last season. Last home game we had our lowest attendance. I assumed it would be back up with the better results. Given nobody with a backbone would go back, it doesn’t seem worth giving away those seats for free.
ToonArmy1892
Imagine if it totally backfired and the season ticket holders who are still going now boycotted.
huss9
they're be loads of season ticket holders taking up the option and selling tickets to mates for £5-10 a game.

sempuki
Genuinely wouldn't go for free. Totally lost interest and won't consider returning until the parasite has gone. There must be others who think the same.

Wilson
There's plenty like that. I was offered a ticket while back off mate who gets them through work for me and my daughter. Had a bit of a think about it as she is 7 and has asked a few times, but in the end.... Fuck that. I feel a bit bad as I would love to be able to take the bairns week in week out but there's no chance when I feel the way I do about the club. I'd end up ruining the day for her Having said that, I was given a free ticket to Rafas last game in charge and sadly took it, as I hadn't been to any of his games, felt like a scab the whole time. Such a shit situation.

Ill go straight back once this parasite is gone.
Gallowgate End
Genuinely wouldn't go for free. Totally lost interest and won't consider returning until the parasite has gone. There must be others who think the same. This, you'd have to pay me to go. I wouldn’t even go if they payed me. Fulham away(Rafa’s last game) was my last game I’ll only go back when Ashley is gone nothing will change that.
