Swear I was watching a completely different game :D Tonali and Bruno G had their own moments of smellyness, but then contributed to good moments in the game. Joelinton was off it for the whole lot, may not have sunk to some lows as the other two, but then never got to some highs, was like a 5/10 all the way through from word go.

The truth is probably in between. All of the midfielders made mistakes, and all of them had good moments as well.

I don't think he's the player he was a couple of seasons ago, Ramsey needs to start when fit in his place imo

Just generally sloppy with passes, and making bad decisions on when to try and hold on to the ball when outnumbered

His body is showing signs of decline. He's pushed himself beyond his limits for the last few years to become the player he is. Whether it's going to be a managed decline, a fall off the cliff or a miraculous return to peak physical condition is anyone's guess. But the more injuries he picks up, the less likely we'll see his best form.

If we're struggling for psr in the summer I'd be looking to shift him. If psr didn't matter, I'd keep him till he can't walk, but we don't live in a world driven by sentiment.

Yeah id agree with that, probably needs to be sold in the summer whilst he has value, would be pure profit too for FFP.

Really pleased he got a couple of goals, badly needs to work on his attacking headers 😅

Some lovely link up with Bruno as you would expect and very selfless giving up the chance for his 3rd to play Bruno in.

Hopefully the goals and mins is just what he needed for arsenal.

Absolutely loved him tonight. Not just the goals but he was crucial to our whole game-plan; lost count of the amount of times he received the ball in the middle and did something positive with it. We won't get to play with that much control in the middle of the park against PL teams obviously, but loved his link up. Certainly seemed to have a good connection with Thiaw.

His nimble feet have always been criminally underrated just because he's a big gangly fella who likes to barge lesser mortals around. His two goals last night showed just how twinkle toed he can be when he gets the opportunity.

I get the feeling he is way more valuable to us than he would be to any other team. Draymond Green vibes about him, but he's not nearly as much of a douchebag.

Can we have a Steph please?
