West Bromwich Albion 2-3 Newcastle United - Man City (H) in QF

Recommended Posts

- West Brom will name a weak side.

- We will scrape past them after extra time and penalties playing the usual atrocious football we always do.

- Bruce will be smug as fuck after the game and claim all the credit.

- Luke Edwards will have his lipstick out within 10 minutes of the tie ending.

The End.

This.

The most interesting thing for me is whether Gayle can compete with guys he trained against last season. And that’s not very interesting at all...

:anguish:

Can actually see us winning this.  Gayle is more effective at this level and Almiron is a nice foil for himShelvey should get a bit more space than he's allowed in the PL and Ritchie will also be at a level where he can be a much more effective threat.

Best not mention the left wing.

0-2.  Gayle and Almiron, both on the break.  Dubravka MotM.

Fucks sake Steve.

If by "nasty" you mean mild booing, then aye, maybe.

Not tonight - 5000 down there with people boozing from 11am and an FA cup quarter final at stake against a team in the league below who lost to 19th at home on Saturday

Gayle, Shelvey & Manquillo not starting.

Heh heh, Brucey's not daft, if the result goes the wrong way he can shrug his shoulders and point the finger at Joelinton.

Can it be possible to rest Gayle 'because he's tired' and then play Joe, who is clearly on the top of his form?

As ever with this guy, words fails me.....

Gayle would definitely end up injured if we tried to play him 2 games in a row.

Probably the best 45 minutes I've seen us play in the last 15 years in that game.

It's definitely up there, particularly during Ashley's reign. 2nd half away to Spurs under Keegan is up there as well. It felt like a brief throwback to the 90's.

Whereas it's quite ok to keep throwing out Joelinton for two games a week, not like he's ever going to cry off with injury.
