McGoldrick must be one of the best around with the high/long balls. He’s controlled or flicked on almost everything.

Aye his touch is class. Really stood out playing for Ireland where nobody else can control the ball

What happened to the lad called Lundstrom for Sheff United? Am sure he was on the verge of an England cal up last season?

Had a falling out with Wilder over his refusal to sign a new contract.

He's also not that good. Don't remember him being linked with playing for England but it would have been mad if he got a cap.

Think a lot of his hype was him being a defender on fantasy football but was a midfielder for Sheff Utd and popped up with the odd goal

6 away games, 6 wins, trailed in all 6. Stupid individual mistakes but great character to come back once again. Would have been living to not get 3 points given the nature of their goals.

Throw another few hundred million at the team and you’ll be top. Well done.

So a PL team is not allowed to spend money but but but Mike Ashley is a cunt.  :crazy2:

I think the point is that it shouldn’t be a surprise if Man Utd are at the top given the budget they’ve got and shitload they’ve spent. They should be competing for the title.

Yeah, and they should naturally be top 2 or 3 as a result (and competing for titles not finishing 20-25 points behind). A different manager and they would be.

They'll literally be second if they win their game in hand, the idiotic anti-OGS bile is frustratingly annoying. Yes, people don't like him outside the Man Utd bubble, but the guy still has the third best record of any Man Utd manager in their history. Donald Trump-esque ignorance of the actual facts to fit a pre-existing opinion/narrative.

We should get a proven winner in like a Jose Mourinho or even a Louis van Gaal.

Yeah, I don't know how much it's down to OGS but they haven't really been better than now since Fergie left and seem to be moving in the right direction.
