That goal only came about because of a jammy second goal, which you arguably didn't deserve. The league is absolute shite man. We're on the verge of staying 7pm , despite going on a run of 2 wins 20 and being utter, utter shite the entire season. Could say similar things about a lot of the teams in the league this season; Everton after a good start have been shite, ditto Saints, Liverpool (they do have decent excuses Tbf), Spurs, Palace. Would argue that your lot, despite being second, haven't been anything to write home about, but I know you'll disagree so not going to bother. As the commentator said when you park yourself in your own box and invite on pressure sooner or later you're going to cave. Completely dominated possession and had the better chances but were denied by some great saves. The result was fair. Everything you've said after has happened pretty much every season since the beginning of time. Again, it's completely unfounded that the league is poor. There is no basis behind it whatsoever. There's an English side in every semi final of both European competitions. I wouldn't say we've been amazing like. We've had wobbly moments and can massively improve still, but well worth second place. We've only lost 4 games all season and are 8 points behind a side who a few days ago were on for a quadruple and had recently won 21 games in a row.
