The ref is to blame not a video replay, all the ref had to do was look at that and see it's not a pen. I suppose the argument goes like this on the flip side, what if you miss a blatant handball. Train the refs better, impliment VAR better and VAR is a tool for stopping poor decisions....right now it's doing that and giving poor ones too. At the end of the day though, our refs are the ones viewing the indicents and getting them wrong, that in itself is a massive worry, the fact they're so inept.
