hakka Posted October 25, 2020 Share Posted October 25, 2020 We only can play down wing, there is just nobody central to move it across the park quickly. So we look terribly one dimensional. Wolves seem to have 3 players on us at all times when we have the ball, and 2 players supporting their man on the ball when they have it. To me that looks like the main reason why they can't string more than two passes together. There's no recognized pattern of play. The players with the ball have no idea where team mates are, will be or what runs they are likely to make. It's worst when the defenders have the ball, even in acres of space they are scared to carry the ball forward, they end up just passing it uselessly amongst themselves until it ends up being hoofed forward.
