The problem with the team this season is that Steve Bruce deliberately sabotaged every aspect of pre season and all of the games he’s managed this season. He was trying to get sacked. This blame game shit should stop, from what I see today Howe is strong enough in his own convictions to move Jones on if he's not wanted. I feel he's a good coach who has probably been trying to do 3 jobs himself, while the 3 Steve's treat the club like a Holiday Camp. Starting to think these players haven't seen any real tactics or fitness since Rafa Left. Let's just see how he gets on with Howe leading the team. If he's found out, he's marched - simple. RS Posted November 10, 2021 Share Posted November 10, 2021 I slated him after the Brighton game. But in hindsight he picked a horrific time to come into a club. Bruce was terrible. A lazy Manager only interested in picking up his wages. This was instilled into the team with influential players like shelvey and Lascelles buying into it. Asking players won't get the same answers or snipey comments about training like Jones would probably give, well, maybe except for Ritchie though. let's see how he fits in. Fresh start for him. Said he was already thinking about adding an additional person to his staff and he knew Jones well, and Jones had also worked as Tindall's number 2 and so it all made sense. Crazy how many links we kind of already had to Howe and some of his staff through the players and Jones. Seems like it was just meant to be.
