Stumbled across a film on prime called "Bromley Boys" about a young lad who against his fathers (Alan Davies) wishes is into football in 1969. Sits at the family meal table saying why can't I be a West Ham fan, or Tottenham's only an hour away on the train. His mother (Martine McCutcheon) says what about that little team down the road? Bromley. Only watched about 20 mins so far but looks ok. Fanatical about Bromley who were bottom of the Isthmuan league at the time.

Seen that. Great film and very upbeat.

However, can't beat Marvelous for that.

Think that was suggested viewing when I turned Bromley Boys off. Next on my list I think.

Just watched The Two Escobars on Sky. Seen it before and it's obviously more than just football but its well worth a watch. Features the original toon Tino.

I don't understand why or how the woke brigade have supposedly taken an end of season montage from anyone [emoji38]

Me neither, but just shared it literally for the montage.

199 World Cup Final in colour being shown on Channel 4 at 4:30pm today

I take it you mean 1966? The one where the ball definitely didn't cross the line, that one?

Today I learned that before yellow cards, the referee would put your name in a book, hence the use of 'booking' as yellow cards now

Not sure how I got this far knowing about football without clicking on

Where can you watch The Two Escobars? Never seen it.

Seems like it's available on watchdocumentaries. No idea about the legitimacy/quality mind.

This new Sky Sports + seems great, it looks like you can basically choose what ever game you want from the football league outside of the Saturday 3pm  kick offs

This had passed me by until now, TV coverage of other leagues has absolutely collapsed this season. Disastrous for sad fuckers like me who like watching Monza vs Lecce.

TNT/BT used to show almost every Serie A game, it's now max 2 per weekend and Ligue 1 is gone completely. Meanwhile the National League has gone to DAZN, I couldn't tell you what the fuck that is. TNT is basically the Champions League and fuck all else other than the early PL game each weekend. I'm sure they're putting the price down accordingly.

Yeah I'm grateful I've got me dodgy box so can still watch every game, but it's an absolute sickener that they're down to 2 Serie A games a week when previously everything was on.

Same, Friday/Saturday nights if im home i always find a match to put onthe dodgy box while watching a film or something too on the computer. Been clear the last couple of years that paid UK content via Sky/TNT has massively reduced, id never pay for them now
