We scored 3 against Arsenal and Man U.  Score 3 against most teams on most days and you're getting points.  We keep playing like this and it's not even a worry.

We scored 3 while totally sacrificing defence. Teams will be watching us and licking their lips, we're fucking awful.

oop, there's 7.

Missing Cabaye and HBA as well.  Seriously not concerned.  By all means keep bumping this, it's an obnoxious shitty thread though and the people who constantly want to talk about it are retard clowns who can go fuck themselves.  I'll not be back to it.  Revel in your pessimism and shitty attitudes and die in a fucking fire.

We've just shipped eleven goals in two games, in our 'best' formation that the manager has avoided for most of the season. Three points clear of the relegation zone.

Literally the only positive is that we can score, but if that's still the case beyond January remains to be seen.

We still lost against Swansea and West Ham at home with 442.  So it's not working either way then.

Was always going to be a shite December for us based on where we were come mid-November.

If we don't get in a quality right back and centre back then we will be fighting relegation until the final games of the season. We may have woke up up top but we are pissing that away at the back at an alarming rate.

Investment in the defense and we'll be absolutely fine. Our attacking play has improved a hell of a lot and we're scoring a lot of goals, with players to come back.

Yes Pardew's totally ballsed up and i've lost almost all faith in that he's the manager to take us forward... but for the meantime, he's capable of keeping us up - providing he doesn't have to make in-game decisions regarding the defense.

If he didn't have woeful defenders to try and tactically protect, we wouldn't have lost either game. I'm not excusing his decisions, i'm just saying his lack of tactical nouse has been totally exacerbated by some of the abysmal, shamefully bad players he's had to manage.

Scoring against teams who aren't particularly fucked about it as they know they'll score more than you isn't perhaps the positive it seems. See how we laboured against a defensive QPR team and most others who we've played who play solidly.
