AyeDubbleYoo
Presumably everyone assumed a defeat to Man City, although the manner of it was s***. We've just got to hold our nerve and squeak the couple of wins we need. Tragic that it has come to this - "squeeking" a couple of wins. We should never have been anywhere near this positio. This season, FFs. True.
themanupstairs
You can stay out of the relegation zone for 37 games but if you fall into it after 38 it's that what counts. Magmatics

cp40
what happend to this thing anyway?- its broken, when we first got it you could change your vote with each kneejerk so it gave a current reading.
wormy
It was just a theory for the 'complacency' shown by people. Going by the rules of the relegationometer, you can understand why people don't go above 5 when we've never actually been in the relegation zone. It would be interesting to see if anyone who has gone down in previous seasons had managed to stay out of the bottom three this long. A quick look through statto says Blackpool managed to hold off until 16/04 before slipping into the bottom 3 in 11-12. (33 games played) EDIT: Let's add the mackems in 96-97 who staved off until 12/04 on matchday 34. Wimbledon witheld until the 36th match of the season 99-00, 30/04 DOUBLE EDIT: I need more productive things to do with my time.

Davey_C_73
Sorry, bit of a long post here. I had nothing better to do on the my lunch, so I've put my predication together for relegation. I didn't bother trying to predict QPR and Reading, I assuming they are already down. NUFC Current points 33 Fulham (H) 3 Mackems (H) 3 W. Brom (A) 0 Lpool (H) 0 W Ham (A) 1 QPR (A) 3 Arsenal (H) 0 Final points 43 Southhampton Current Points 34 Reading (A) 1 West Ham (H) 3 Swansea (A) 0 West Brom (H) 1 Spurs (A) 0 Mackems (A) 1 Stock (H) 3 Final Points 43 Norwich Current Points 34 Swansea (H) 3 Arsenal (A) 0 Reading (H) 3 Stoke (A) 0 Villa (H) 1 West Brom (H) 0 Man City (A) 0 Final Points 41 Stoke Current Points 34 Villa (H) 1 Man U (H) 0 QPR (A) 1 Norwich (H) 3 Mackems (A) 0 Spurs (H) 0 S’hampton (A) 0 Final Points 39 Wigan Current Points 30 QPR (A) 1 Man City (A) 0 West Ham (A) 1 Spurs (H) 0 West Brom (A) 0 Swansea (H) 3 Arsenal (A) 0 Villa (H) 3 Final Points 38 Mackems Current Points 31 Chelsea (A) 0 NUFC (A) 0 Everton (H) 1 Villa (A) 1 Stoke (H) 3 S'hampton (H) 1 Spurs (A) 0 Final Points 37 Villa Current Points 30 Stoke (A) 1 Fulham (H) 3 Man U (A) 0 Mackems (H) 1 Norwich (A) 1 Chelsea (H) 0 Wigan (A) 0 Final Points 36 Final Table 12 NUFC 43 13 Southampton 43 14 Norwich 41 15 Stoke 39 16 Wigan 38 17 Mackems 37 18 Villa 36 19 Reading 20 QPR
AyeDubbleYoo
I just can't predict a win for us with any confidence, but part of that is panic and pessimism obviously.
Davey_C_73
I just can't predict a win for us with any confidence, but part of that is panic and pessimism obviously. I'm actually being a bit pessimistic with my predications. I think we'll beat Fulham and the Mackems, but if we can actually get a draw at West Brom then that'll put us on a 3-game unbeaten run in the league (6 at home) and full of confidence for the Liverpool game. If Liverpool have one of their many away day off games, then who knows what sort of run we'll go on till the end of the season.
AyeDubbleYoo
Hope you're right. The good thing is that I can't predict a win for any of the other shit teams either. Which I suppose is the key to whether we'll go down or not.
ExiledGeordie
I bought my ticket for Fulham this morning and even on the way down to the ticket office I had that empty feeling like I was on the way to one of my Physio exams I hope it's not "one of those afternoons" and we comfortably put them away and serve up a positive performance. Anyway I'm in the East stand corner this time, Gallowgate end is totally sold out

midds
Current scores definitely means the pressure's been cranked up another notch or two. Must must must take 4 points (minimum) from these 2 home games.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
needing points from home games just brings out the painful memories of needing 4 minimum from those West Ham and Swansea games
