Nobody
To completely write off Sunderland, Spurs and Swansea is ridiculous IMO.
Guest Roger Kint
If we dont get 7 points in the next 5 we are in serious shit when the inevitable 1 point from 7 in March/April hits us. Going to be tight imo as i wouldnt want to play any of those final 4 games on the back of a long run of hidings
Nexumaster
I think Hull, Villa, Leicester and QPR are where we should get the wins but it's never that simple with us. We'll probably fluke some results elsewhere and get bummed by the four I've mentioned. Either way, it's going to be tight as.
Guest TruToon94
I can't understand why QPR are being lumped in as a possibility of us winning. 'Arry has a great record against us and we're going to be playing away.... We're really shite away and they're really good at home I can't see us winning that. I think Hull and Villa are beatable. Can't see any other points coming in.
Varadi
I think 35 will be enough - beat Hull and we're as good as safe I reckon.
Interpolic
Couldn't care less whether we stay up or go down tbh. Boring as fuck being NUFC in the Premier League.
54
At this point in time, I'd gladly take a couple of years in the Championship if it meant Ashley leaving and having some pride and hope In the team again, as at this point I just don't care anymore, and I actually enjoyed the Championship last time round. ilikenewcastle
Relegation would be slightly funny tbh. We're staying up fairly comfortably though.

Nobody
and up to 8. Will be at 10 if Sissoko is sold in the next week. 10 now. Have no clue where Carver could scrap 13 points from at all he's that shite. Amongst others
cp40
I think we will get 8 more points at best with Carver, and I think that is doubling his rate of points so far. Its going to be close. only 5 to get.

Skeletor
Think we are probably one win from the required points total this year.
Mole_Toonfan
It's more people being overwhelmed by the clubs relentless negative bullshit than being thick.
Nobody
Being 100 % convinced we were going down with 27 points after 22 games was pretty fucking thick.
Elliottman
Being 100 % convinced we were going down with 27 points after 22 games was pretty f***ing thick. There were a couple of stunning over reactions. I think that's us safe now, could have been nervy if we lost today but we'll be fine now.

gallowgate_pete
Probably 4-5 tonight, maybe as high as a 7 if we screw up the next three games. FWIW, my (still 'optimistic') prediction, starting with Hull, is: WDLLWLDLDLLDLWDL = 41 points, 15th place. Glorious. Predicted we would win this one but I think it's a bit unfair to mock those who entered panic mode as this was a really important game. After all I've got us winning just one of our next 12 in a difficult spell but that win, another against Villa, and a few draws will keep us far enough from trouble ahead of a tough March and April. But I predict it will take us until May (four games this season) for us to be mathematically certain.

We were never going to go down when you look at some of those teams near the bottom of the table
ilikenewcastle
Could have got a bit interesting if we lost today, but even then we'd only have need 3 wins (maybe 2 and some draws) to stay up. I still expect a bottom half finish though.
Varadi
34/35 points will be enough for safety this season - today's win means we're almost certainly OK. Edit: You can get 100/1 for us to go down now: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation It's not happening.

Record has been WDD so, as per this prediction, we're on target for 42 points even if we only win two more games this season and draw a few...
