timeEd32
We're far from done, it's mid December and almost half the league is garbage. We desperately need some new blood in January though, starting with a GK and a ST.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
6. Everything will be just about ok.
afar
Not changing from an 8 based on tonight, the 2 points are in the hope the Takeover takes place and funds are released and most importantly wisely invested by Rafa.
Elric
It'd be a 10 without all the takeover 'developments'. As things are, there's no way of knowing until the end of the January window.
Decky
We're far from done, it's mid December and almost half the league is garbage. We've lost to Huddersfield, Brighton and Bournemouth while also drawing with West Brom. Half the league might be garbage but the evidence shows we're one of the worst three. Dokko
What’s the best odds for us to go down? Might as well earn some money from it.
Guest firetotheworks
The optimism in here is admirable  Just over a decade's experience of knowing that post match isn't the best time to make predictions. Particularly with a takeover and signings on the horizon.

Particularly with a takeover and signings on the horizon. I was just as pessimistic pre-match. We have no quality, no tactics, horrific form and bad fixtures coming up. sempuki
We are going to need some cracking loans and signings. Think it will be tight.
Tsunami
7 defeats in 8 games with some very winnable games in there should say it all. We might get a lucky point from the next 3 games. We’ve been here before; takeover or not we’ve got a huge task ahead of us.
Dave
Probably still at the 6 I was earlier today but the lack of energy in that second half tonight is seriously worrying. Sure, we need the takeover, everyone knows that. But the core of the squad is going to be the same no matter what happens in January.
Andy84
Absolutely s*** at the moment but we still aren’t in the bottom 3, small margins man. Keeping mistake, last minute goal v Bournemouth, game was completely drifting at Burnley yet we have ended up with 0 points. IF we get the signings we can stay up, you have to be optimistic otherwise you’ll just depress yourself into a s*** state. Think I’m waffling but you just have to hope I guess
Dokko
You never know, pressure is off against arsenal and citeh, we may nick a point or two
afar
Could have done without West Brom and West Ham not getting something against top 6 sides, we could well be bottom by the weekend, if we do hit that low point, think we are doomed.
ilikenewcastle
5.1 It's basically all about January
samptime29
West Ham, Brighton, Stoke are massive games. If we can get 5-6 points there, and we spend properly in Jan, we can get out of this. We're utter shite atm though, hard to feel positive.
Scoot
Investment in january and we'll be fine.
TheGuv
6. A longggg way to go yet. Our form is dreadful mind and we could easily get zilch from our next 3. 3 points at West Ham would be a good Xmas present Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TheInfiniteOdyssey
9 Unless Rafa pulls a Torres or Alonso out his arse in January, we're down.
Robster
These tough times will make the post Ashley era all the sweeter. Going to be a tough second half of the season but I am not giving up on being positive.
Dave
What's really ridiculous is we're only three points behind 11th. 7 of the bottom half lost this week, and only 1 team won.
Disco
What's really ridiculous is we're only three points behind 11th. 7 of the bottom half lost this week, and only 1 team won. Going to be everyone bar the normal and Watford, Saints and Burnley. So shite. Absolutely insane we're not in the bottom 3.
Yorkie
What worried me most about tonight was the palpable lack of character. Have come to expect the opposite from this group of players.

Going to be everyone bar the normal and Watford, Saints and Burnley. So shite. Everton and Leicester have enough quality and a bit of momentum now, they'll be fine too. But yeah, everyone in the bottom half is in danger.
