Takeover Thread - July 1st statement, Staveley letter to Tracey Crouch (and response) in OP

Recommended Posts

"Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs took the opportunity of their "Daily Zoom Conference" with Masters, to express their total love and affection for him"

(probably  :))

Express their love?

More like "Who pays your wages Ricky? That's right....now this is the script you will read out to the press..."

Yes, an equally accurate way of putting it!

This is what happens when you try to present a reasonable front in public, but are actively trying to obstruct a deal behind closed doors. Which is what has been happening from the PL end from day one, they are only getting angry now because they have been publicly called out on their hypocrisy.

He’s been the most accurate throughout this process and that thread seems like the most plausible set of circumstances.

Really so PL 'No Comment' but then apparently tell the times reporter their side.    This is all bullshit.  Its either no comment or come out with a statement like the club has.    This is just like infant school when you used to get your mate to say something to the girl you liked cause you were to scared to face up it.

Fucking shambles and the government should look at dismantling the Premier League!

But Caulkin has said that they were expecting the PL to say yes up until yesterday when they rejected.

So much shit spreading

Does seem like PIF have taken a back seat but will come back when they're approved. They don't seem fussed to appeal themselves.

Can't wait to see what pettiness the big man baby has up his sleeve. Feels good having his pure hatred moved away from the club for a change and onto someone else. Hope it gets even more pathetic for the shits and giggles.

The PL have taken a very risky line because their rules are absolutely clear that a formal decision should be issued in that circumstance.

It's one thing making a decision that they can then potentially reasonably defend, but their actions seem completely indefensible.
