I really don't mind if parts have to be in private if it prevents the whole host of pretend solicitors coming out and making grand claims. At the end of the day it's a fair hearing in front of somebody impartial.

I don't actually understand why these arguments - which are to be made in private - need to be made at all. I thought this was purely about whether or not the CAT had jurisdiction, so surely that's purely an argument about process, rather than anything to do with our relationship with the PL during the failed takeover?

Judge been handed a brown envelope by Hoffman, should never have buckled to them shithouses after admitting theres a strong public interest

 

At least we now know for certain PIF are still trying to buy us so thats great news. Hopefully shut these clowns saying they walked July 2020

NUFC would have known this confidentiality risk from the start - as soon as Ashley took on the PL through two legal fronts. Always a risk of prejudice on content of simultaneous proceedings.

That risk magnifies when the other proceedings are secret arbitration. PL QC also said that the PL rules to resolve disputes privately are signed up to by all PL clubs, including NUFC

I think we’ve got to just trust the court process. I’m not overly sure if this morning so far is positive or negative overall, if I was a judge and one side is desperate to go through in private I would be suspicious as to why

PL decided that ksa would be a director, PL did then not proceed to question of OADT cos PIF was not prepared to proceed with the transaction unless PL decided that KSA would not be a director.
