Honestly think we're going to smash the end of the season now. Have a taste of what it's like to be a really dominant, winning team.

Yep, think this cup win will raise the levels of players like Murphy to really believe they are winners.

That moment when the whistle goes and players are dropping to their knees and others are sprinting away celebrating, and the camera just cuts to Howe calmly and politely shaking hands with Slot. Top class all round.

Saw other teams fans describing him as "hateful" I'm sorry but other than pathetic tribalistic, 'hate everything that isn't my team' mentality, how is he hateful?

I know I can't look at this as a neutral but if I was to compare him to pretty much every manager out there he is the most calm inoffensive respectful guy in the league. Just don't get how anyone could hate him but I guess I might have answered my own question.

Nobody thinks this way about Howe. You sure that wasn't just Liverpool fans yesterday after an upsetting defeat?

Was in tears watching his interview talking about his mum and kids. Fucking Hell man Eddie. You absolute legend.

Aye, was probably the most beautiful moment of listening to Eddie Howe. Shows whilst a master at switching off emotions that underneath that there's a vulnerability that appeals to us all.

Just got home, Nee sleep in two days.

What a fucking team, but it's down to one man. Sir Eddie. Take a bow! What a talented but beautiful man.

So emotional in the stands yesterday. Disbelief, hope, prior pain - then bang, Winners.

I love this club and how the club showed up as one unstoppable force.

Happy for everyone who lives for this club. Beautiful times!

As a sidenote, thought Slot was very gracious in defeat, kudos to him for being above all the petty stuff which was a trademark of Klopp.

Aye nailed on Klopp would have been sprinting down the touchline roaring in the fourth officials face for not giving a penalty for the trippier handball. And then he’d have spent his full time presser making up nonsense how Liverpool can’t compete financially with Newcastle and how it’s all an unfair advantage.

He probably wouldn’t have done the latter part of this post tbf but I feel better when I make stuff up about him.

Mad how he done something at Bournemouth no other manager has done for them. Became a club legend, an absolute icon.

He’s now done something for us that no one has done since 1969. I have had my doubts, posted them after the Brentford game in December, thought his time was coming to an end. How wrong was I? The day he leaves here he will be remembered the way he is at Bournemouth.

His managerial career is some story.

Apparently klopp had been invited to the stadium. It would have been the icing on the cake if the camera had zoomed up on the horrible scroat fuck

Was really impressed with the setup yesterday.

I have to say, one thing I hope we take on to other matches going forward, was the way we went more direct when under pressure at the back.

I think this avoided us losing the ball as much in dangerous areas, which has gifted away so many easy opportunities to opposition teams this season.

Our midfield is so competitive and high energy that they also do a great job of winning second balls in central areas from any knock downs too, so we were causing them a ton of problems that way.

Really think that approach suited us, and can be utilised more against teams that do a good job of pressing us, and make it difficult for us to play out from the back.

Saw far less mistakes playing out from the back from Burn and Schar yesterday. Joelinton wasn't forced the ball in tight areas under pressure, and Murphy didn't have to drop deeper and get involved in build up as much.

For where we are as a team at the minute that suits us very well.

Saw it mentioned on Reddit. If the club was to build a new stadium on Leazes, should name the pathway between Strawberry Place and any new stadium the "Howe Way".

Get it done.

Think the longer approach is energy sapping. But with this being a big game and Liverpool having a long, tiring and disappointing game midweek it worked. Also Liverpool would defend high and try to keep the ball which we don't often face.

It was the right horse for the course. Eddie doesn't always get it right but he's shown a number of times he can come up with a winning game plan against top opposition. He thrives on it imo.
