Last season we had the injury crisis and Europe, so for me he gets a pass - again, last season. This season we've just looked disjointed and out of ideas in half the games we've played.

 

We turn into the most boring, predictable and blunt side when things are not going to plan, even against shit sides.

West Ham knew exactly what lineup we were going to play, and exactly how we were going to play it. It's not really a secret that we will go the exact same route for the next one when we win. It has worked before, mind, but feels like it's getting too predictable at this point.

Been saying this for a while, needs to swallow his pride and freshen up the coaching staff, we have gone stale. 

 

If that means having to let people go then so be it, if we want to be  competing with the best we need a best in class coaching staff not sticking with Eddies mates because hes too stubborn to change.

To be fair I doubt anyone would want Jose regardless of their view about Howe after tonight.

I said in the match thread that it's happening too many times that level of performance and questions have to be asked. It's not a one off and the same mistakes are being made on and off the pitch.

No kneejerk reaction and I'm not calling for his head, but he has to share the blame for that.

 

Subs were strange as they didn't seem to have any reason to them.

 

for example why move Gordon up top for about five minutes disrupting the team if you're going to bring Wilson on a few minutes later? I know it's probably just me that is bothered by stuff like this but the whole second half tactics just seemed slapdash and clueless.

 

Again, not calling for his head or anything but he got it wrong on quite a few levels tonight.

It wasn't the loss though, it was the total lack of control in the game. Something we hoped we'd seen the back of after the last couple of wins. We were all over the place, and that is always going to come back on the manager.

Doesn't seem to be learning and feels like he's peaked. I don't know how much patience the board shows in him with so much changing behind the scenes. I don't know who has his back, and I wonder if that is creeping into the players.

 

Has an inevitability about it all. Can honestly see Jose rocking up here in the next 6 weeks. He'd do alright for a while, but we'd be back to this point when he goes stale. 

 

Meh. PL have fucked us and Howe all over. Just doesn't seem like it's worth being arsed anymore.

I agree, but people need to get their heads out of the sand, as the problems are happening far too many times. It's not looking at individual games, it's looking at a collective of games over the season. The same errors and poor play are occurring far too many times

We are too predictable as others have said no plan B.  When we sell a Bruno or Isak I don’t trust him (if he has a say) to spend well.  Can’t believe how bad Kelly looked the fact we are still playing Murphy the fact we signed barnes instead of a right winger with about 5 options on the left
