Fucking hell

There were a fair few off their rocker. And I was sick to death of their negativity, especially those whopulled the same shit with that poor run of results with Rafa. Many have since laudably held their hands up, but a few just went dormant, and pull the same shit over and over whenever we hit a bad run. Hopefully the Cup will have caused them to think before they type when it happens again.

This is a credit to the Howe-Tindal partnership. When the leadership from the top is so strong that the organisation can just maintain course even when the guy at the top steps away for a short while.

Credit to Tindall and the staff, but it's a testament to how tight knit and well drilled the whole coaching staff is that we can lose our manager for a few games and things still keep ticking along

We all know how Howe is one of the very best when it comes to getting the best out of the less good players in the squad. Heck, he might even be the best at that out there. But he also gets the best out of the purples. It doesn't matter who you are, he'd probably be able to make some of us look like PL players, if he'd be given some time to pull it off.

Must be weird as a manager to get a chance to watch your own team, as a fan, for an extended period.

I am sure that Howe is hating every second of it  Well, not the result. Just the complete inability to be involved.

Not sure what your point is and I think you could find a lot more quotes than that - ones from you as well not doubt.

Will never ever doubt this man again. Feel embarrassed for ever doing so.

3 windows without a first team signing and we are getting stronger and stronger.

Little point comparing him to Keegan considering the circumstances in which they took over, but Howe in 20/30 years will be spoke of in the same breath.

IIRC I never really felt the need to doubt him due to the simple logic of the situation. He was always going to be given the season at least, and therefore he was always going to turn it around.

With a worse ownership I would've been worried they would pull the trigger on him early, but I knew the club wouldn't do that.

No one could have predicted how good he would be - tactics aside - his coaching is next level, and his eye for a player is friggin ridiculous.

One of the players mentioned that loads of them had received texts from him in their interview. You won’t convince me he’s not playing a reasonably significant part in tactical decisions pre game from his hospital bed or back at home if he’s now there.
