buzza
The return to a 3-4-3 worked perfectly! Thought botman was outstanding in the middle. Both Murphy and libra didn't let anything pass them until very late in the Game. Really sólid performance

Donut
Fucking love how he has us playing new formations when the situation requires it and both he and the team deliver almost every time, yet Amorim over at Manure needs "his own players", a preseason, a new TV and "patience from the fans" for Manure to defeat anyone not currently already relegated playing his defensive 5-4-1 shite. Dokko
Feel like we're sbout to pop out of the main constraints of ffp as well. They've delayed us as long as they can, and still we've won a cup and are fighting for CL with 2 games to go.
The Butcher
To have this squad 3d, with such glaring holes in it, is quite the achievement. Add a trophy on top of that. Best in the leeeague.
Menace
This formation has worked well for us in the past and it's worked well today too, we really should use it more. Great today. Edited May 11 by Menace

Aye, putting Schär, Botman and Burn against one powderpuff centre-forward gives your a decent chance of keeping a clean sheet, like. Loved it in that first half; felt very fluid going forward too. I didn’t think we were forcing attacks though, we just don’t have enough players who love to keep possession and Chelsea had 3 £100m DMs on the pitch. There are many instances where Pope chooses not to launch a quick counter, I guess that’s tactical. Edited May 11 by AyeDubbleYoo

I’ve mentioned this before - we try a lot of low percentage forward passes under minimal pressure. That’s a tactical direction. I think if you’re getting caught on the counter against 10 men which happened a few times, you are forcing attacks.

Think it’s impacting Palmer a lot. Very few transitions. Safe passing. They were fairly shut imo.

Ellis H
Such a “professional” performance, the kind that wins you things. We can’t go hell for leather against every team so it’s great that he’s capable of doing things like this when needed.
M1tche
Great win that. set up at the start was spot on, didn't quite find the right formula when they went down to 10, but scored 2, kept a clean sheet, I'll take those every week.

John P
The few times we have changed system in the last couple of seasons, the transition has been seamless and we look so well drilled. The guy is just an absolutely elite level coach

midds
Clear to see where the next step is to building the total up season on season. We've left lots of points on the table against mid-table teams this year, to take only 2 points from 18 from Brighton, Fulham and Bournemouth combined is something we can, and need, to correct next year. We're formidable at home and can match anyone up at SJP but we're still (understandably) struggling away to the best in the division too. No reason why we can't add to the squad depth and quality and tack another 10 points on next season - it's potentially there for us
