Theres been too much off pitch chaos this season for the club to consider sacking him. I think that's a blessing cause it'd be way too soon imo.

Theres apparently no money for the Jan window, so Eddie needs to be a better manager and solve it with his noggin.

If you take yourself out the echo chamber some stick themselves in online he’s really not “that” close to being sacked.

some folks online just become conditioned to their environment and think it to be reality.

Unless you've just outed yourself as one of maybe 5 people, you don't have any way of knowing that.

I think if you have a decent clutch of brain cells common sense would say he’s a fair bit to go before he’s sacked

I get it though people read it so much online they talk themselves into it being truth that he’s a manager close to the sack

It’s less the results though and more the performances. We have knowledgeable football guys with the ear of the board and if they’re seeing why we’re seeing, he might be closer to the door than you think.
If we were showing signs of playing well but not getting the rub of the green, you’d say the tide might turn. But we look totally bereft of ideas regardless who is playing. We’ve been labouring for a good while now and we know he’s not the kind of manager to park the bus and grind out a result just to kickstart some momentum.

The only way I see things changing if he gets 2-3 new first teamers in January, which isn’t going to happen. How else is he going to change it?

I love Eddie, think he is a great guy and obviously a good manager, but barring a few games this season, we have looked pretty average and we shouldn't be looking average with a team featuring several international players.

I know people will say we are playing the 'long game' and the long term project, etc... but there's no way we can just blindly follow the long term project, whilst the long term project is potentially hampered and put in jeopardy whilst teams around us strengthen.

It's a tough one but I am having doubts about Eddie for the first time.

Bit different when we all want the same thing, like.

I’m not even among those saying I want him gone. I just want us to be better than 0 shots on target (again) and I think his limitations are a big reason we’re going backwards. Gutted to lose you as a follower.

It’s like we try and do the City thing and pass it to death into the net without the end product.

We really remind me of England under Southgate. We'll have a good spell then fall into our patient build up play, which involves us just aimlessly passing the ball between the back four until we get pressed into giving the ball away.

I'm not even seeing our patient build up play. I see us attempt it, get closed down and lose the ball pretty quickly. The players look like they are being told to press with high intensity but don't really have the confidence to hold the ball under pressure themselves.

It’s concerning at this point. No way around it.

I still think he’s being let down by a number of players and I’m more disappointed in a lot of them than I am Eddie, but it’s also fair to say it’s the manager’s responsibility to find a solution.

I’ll never understand why some are gagging for him to leave though; almost willing the failure it seems. If this is the beginning of the end I’m going to be sad. Off the pitch he’s everything anyone could ever want in a manager and on it his first two years were spectacular. I’m still hopeful we’ll find our way out of this, but for the first time my confidence is wavering.

I’ve posted since, but it would be quite random for a manger in the hunt for Europe and a Cup to be sacked

some seem to have no grasp of that and have spoke themselves into thinking we are going to be relegated
