The Butcher Posted Monday at 21:54 Share Posted Monday at 21:54 Just too limited. Plan A is the only plan. It's great when it works. More or less useless when it doesn't. Reckon the board and Mitchell will have a list of potential replacements drawn up?
Ikon Posted Monday at 21:55 Share Posted Monday at 21:55 We’re just not very good at all if there ain’t a lot of transitions in the game overall. Not too surprising when you consider the players we’ve signed.
Skeletor Posted Monday at 21:55 Share Posted Monday at 21:55 When he first came one of his biggest strengths was that he'd studied the modern game with Atletico and really seemed to have his finger on the button with regards to the gegenpress. But football has evolved in the last two seasons. Every top team has a number 10 and can open up teams that play a low block (which is anyone we play who isn't one of the top teams). He doesn't seem to be evolving this time.
Aiston Posted Monday at 21:55 Share Posted Monday at 21:55 Disasterclass from Howe tonight, right up there with a 2nd half Bruce would be proud of. Starting to be really fucking annoying he isn't bothering to try fix our set piece problems.

Not that it’s time to start talking about him getting sacked.

Seems like it, but the whole Burn thing was every game regardless of result and performance. Will be interesting to see whether we make a change for the next one. Generally I'd like the lineups to be a little more proactive. Edited Monday at 22:02 by Erikse
El Prontonise Posted Monday at 21:57 Share Posted Monday at 21:57 Should take responsibility for that 2nd half, his changes were awful.

TRon Posted Monday at 21:58 Share Posted Monday at 21:58 Sorry like but that was abysmal. The team was chasing shadows as soon as we went behind.
Ronaldo Posted Monday at 21:58 Share Posted Monday at 21:58 I think I’m just about done to be fair. That was the definition of a manager who paints by numbers. Clueless.
JoeyBartoon Posted Monday at 21:58 Share Posted Monday at 21:58 He’s obviously too stubborn to try new systems. It’ll cost him his job imo
Jordan Posted Monday at 21:59 Share Posted Monday at 21:59 Clueless tonight and its happening too often this season. Needs to bring in a set piece coach desperately.
Aiston Posted Monday at 22:00 Share Posted Monday at 22:00 Must be nigh on a year now that our midfield has been like a sieve, usually far bigger problem in away games but was on full show that 2nd half.
Decky Posted Monday at 22:01 Share Posted Monday at 22:01 13 goals scored in 12 games is pretty awful like.

Amir_9 Posted Monday at 22:03 Share Posted Monday at 22:03 (edited) Last season we had the injury crisis and Europe, so for me he gets a pass - again, last season. This season we've just looked disjointed and out of ideas in half the games we've played. We turn into the most boring, predictable and blunt side when things are not going to plan, even against shit sides. Not good. West Ham knew exactly what lineup we were going to play, and exactly how we were going to play it. It's not really a secret that we will go the exact same route for the next one when we win. It has worked before, mind, but feels like it's getting too predictable at this point. Edited Monday at 22:05 by Erikse
JigsawGoesToPieces Posted Monday at 22:06 Share Posted Monday at 22:06 Been saying this for a while, needs to swallow his pride and freshen up the coaching staff, we have gone stale. If that means having to let people go then so be it, if we want to be competing with the best we need a best in class coaching staff not sticking with Eddies mates because hes too stubborn to change. Wont happen though.

et tu brute Posted Monday at 22:07 Share Posted Monday at 22:07 I said in the match thread that it's happening too many times that level of performance and questions have to be asked. It's not a one off and the same mistakes are being made on and off the pitch.
Aiston Posted Monday at 22:07 Share Posted Monday at 22:07 Did I imagine right winger Joelinton ?
beardsleymagic Posted Monday at 22:08 Share Posted Monday at 22:08 No kneejerk reaction and I'm not calling for his head, but he has to share the blame for that. Subs were strange as they didn't seem to have any reason to them. for example why move Gordon up top for about five minutes disrupting the team if you're going to bring Wilson on a few minutes later? I know it's probably just me that is bothered by stuff like this but the whole second half tactics just seemed slapdash and clueless. Again, not calling for his head or anything but he got it wrong on quite a few levels tonight.
