We’re just not very good at all if there ain’t a lot of transitions in the game overall. Not too surprising when you consider the players we’ve signed.

When he first came one of his biggest strengths was that he'd studied the modern game with Atletico and really seemed to have his finger on the button with regards to the gegenpress. But football has evolved in the last two seasons. Every top team has a number 10 and can open up teams that play a low block (which is anyone we play who isn't one of the top teams). He doesn't seem to be evolving this time.

Disasterclass from Howe tonight, right up there with a 2nd half Bruce would be proud of.

Starting to be really fucking annoying he isn't bothering to try fix our set piece problems.

Just too limited. Plan A is the only plan. It's great when it works. More or less useless when it doesn't.

Reckon the board and Mitchell will have a list of potential replacements drawn up?

No, I don’t think we are a that proactive tbh. Not that it’s time to start talking about him getting sacked.

Doesn't like to change an undefeated team.

Seems like it, but the whole Burn thing was every game regardless of result and performance. Will be interesting to see whether we make a change for the next one. Generally I'd like the lineups to be a little more proactive.

Would imagine it will be the usual Barnes for Willock and Tonali for Longstaff.

Last season we had the injury crisis and Europe, so for me he gets a pass - again, last season. This season we've just looked disjointed and out of ideas in half the games we've played.

We turn into the most boring, predictable and blunt side when things are not going to plan, even against shit sides.

Not good.

This place is a fucking nightmare.

Absolutely this.  It's pathetic.

We’re 10th. That’s what’s you judge our progress on. Pretty obvious which way this going.

We’ve been figured out. He doesn’t have the answers.

West Ham knew exactly what lineup we were going to play, and exactly how we were going to play it. It's not really a secret that we will go the exact same route for the next one when we win. It has worked before, mind, but feels like it's getting too predictable at this point.

Been saying this for a while, needs to swallow his pride and freshen up the coaching staff, we have gone stale.

If that means having to let people go then so be it, if we want to be  competing with the best we need a best in class coaching staff not sticking with Eddies mates because hes too stubborn to change.

Wont happen though.

To be fair I doubt anyone would want Jose regardless of their view about Howe after tonight.

No kneejerk reaction and I'm not calling for his head, but he has to share the blame for that.

Subs were strange as they didn't seem to have any reason to them.

for example why move Gordon up top for about five minutes disrupting the team if you're going to bring Wilson on a few minutes later? I know it's probably just me that is bothered by stuff like this but the whole second half tactics just seemed slapdash and clueless.

Again, not calling for his head or anything but he got it wrong on quite a few levels tonight.
