There were a fair few off their rocker. And I was sick to death of their negativity, especially those whopulled the same shit with that poor run of results with Rafa. Many have since laudably held their hands up, but a few just went dormant, and pull the same shit over and over whenever we hit a bad run. We all know how Howe is one of the very best when it comes to getting the best out of the less good players in the squad. Heck, he might even be the best at that out there. But he also gets the best out of the purples. It doesn't matter who you are, he'd probably be able to make some of us look like PL players, if he'd be given some time to pull it off.

IIRC I never really felt the need to doubt him due to the simple logic of the situation. He was always going to be given the season at least, and therefore he was always going to turn it around. 

 

With a worse ownership I would've been worried they would pull the trigger on him early, but I knew the club wouldn't do that.
