Up against Declan Rice (£105m), Zubimendi (£55m) and Eze (£67.5m). The last two being a steal at the prices and all. Why weren't Botman and Thiaw just finding midfielders in acres of space and why wasn't the usually slow Bruno just strolling past their players for fun? Unacceptable. The big 3 have to do 90 minutes when the game is close. Only Rice is in that position for Arsenal, the rest can be moved around. PSR and the lack of creativity to subvert it I guess. Tbf, our midfield trio of Tonali, Bruno and Joelinton is considered one of the best in the PL. We don't have their bench strength, but our first team midfield is up there. Maybe the formation didn't help or the tactics on the day didn't work. Or it might be weaker players in other areas, because of course possession isn't just about the midfield.
