Another lead thrown away. Again.

It’s the same story. Go ahead, lose control, concede soft goals, drop points. Nothing changes. No adjustment, no learning, no progression.

Three weeks to prepare and we come back looking exactly the same. Slow, predictable, and mentally fragile.

This is about coaching.

Howe has taken us as far as he can. The patterns are obvious, the ceiling has been hit, and we’re going backwards.

Forever legend of this Club, but his time here as the football manager is over.

Sadly this is it. He had a brake to come up with something and it is the same performance and the same problems. He is not turning this around

25 points lost from winning. Proper bed wetting that like.

Ugly pattern.  That's why needs summer to sort it.

It needs to be both.

He’s too fucking stubborn to change the players, make subs, change tactics. Won’t even buy players who he’s either had at Bournemouth, or Bournemouth had on their target list.

He’s not good enough for where we want to be, and honestly considering we were in Europe and he’s used that as an excuse for poor league form, he’s not good enough for where we are now.

I'm still not Howe out but I'm getting close if I'm being honest. Maybe we should try for Alonso while we can although I'm not sure if he's waiting for the Liverpool gig.

He's got to know he's close to being in big trouble.

Fuck sake what? Its piss poor..

Fuck sake what? I think you lot calling for Eddie's head won't be satisfied until you've hounded out the best manager we've had for years and we get back to where teams like Spurs find themselves now. We need to make changes certainly, but the manager isn't the main problem, we might as well be back to having Ashley in charge and Bruce as manager, you'll realise what you've lost then.

Fear for him now. Was no excuses not to put in a strong performance really and it was exactly the same as we have seen all season. Season well and truely buried now although realistically it was dead after Sunderland.

What is the problem then?

It’s been consistently poor for most of the season, think people are allowed to complain.

Two seasons ago it was the same.. And the same users whinging.  Who can't handle the ups and downs of supporting a football team.

Progress isn't always linear.

I love Howe and I’ve always been Howe in. Unfortunately I think it’s only going one way from here. Time for change imo. Can twist things all you want. We’re 14the despite all the money spent. He is obviously not the only one to blame.

Of course the people who already hate Howe will blame him for this.

It’s been a full season of regression - we judge based on what we see week in week out - same shit different week

He isn’t turning this around because he doesn’t have the ability to - quicker people realise this the better

As bad as things are, this has been building for a while, even before this season.

For all his good, Eddie just is not an elite manager. The evidence is becoming overwhelming.

The fact people still try to deny this is why I only pop in here occasionally. Can't be bothered being gaslit in addition to watching the club in the state that it is.

I don’t think anyone ‘hates’ Howe. In fact I think most supporters admire and love what he’s done for Newcastle

But he’s clearly not getting a tune out of the side, and his tactics have been worked out imo. The players have been gutless for large portions too, and don’t look like they’re fighting for the manager.

He needs to go, once again you could have predicted that and Howe saw nothing. Absolutely fucking useless as he has been all season in the league, clueless as fuck and we are weak as fuck

The lack of Isak for one.

Clubs lose their best players all the time. A lot of managers aren't afforded £130m to replace him with though which was absolutely squandered on utter shite. Get your head out the sand and see what's happening in front of your eyes.

3 weeks rest. Palace played Thursday. There's another excuse for this seasons shitshow up in smoke. 25 points dropped from winning positions now. Absolutely shameful.

I'd love him to get the summer and turn things around but I do wonder if it is time like.

Not sure if he's knackered and out of ideas, but he doesn't seem to be able to motivate the players any more and is making the same mistakes over and over again.

It's incredibly rare for managers to last as long as he has, maybe it's just a natural limit where except for an incredibly small amount of managers there comes a point where a change is just needed.

Still would be the greatest toon manager in my lifetime by a comfortable margin and an absolute legend.

I kind of agree but i put this more of the board taking to long with the isak shite and no dof for howe getting the players he wants , i have no doubt in my mind howe will be a successful manager but sadly we can't provide his needs

I think we have enough data now to show he will not be the person to take us to the very top, he did incredible with what he initially had to work with but we have to move on if we want to get to the next level.

The amount of 2nd halves we've fucked up this seasons is incredible.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Every right to question Howe after that, and the games this season.
